The Stowe Recreation Path Becomes Transformed for the Stowe Tour de Snow!

When families come to Stowe during the winter season, snow activities are usually first and foremost in their minds and if you’re looking for a new snow experience, the Stowe Tour de Snow is the perfect event.  Enjoy a full day of activities on the Stowe Recreation Path with FREE Nordic ski equipment and lessons offered to all registered children.  Fun-filled activities provided by local merchants and friends of the Rec Path will be available throughout the day, along with a Vintage Cross-Country Ski Race sponsored by The Vermont Ski & Snowboard Museum.

Finish Celebrations will take place in the heart of Stowe Village, in the Helen Day Art Center from 3 – 4 PM.  Pick and choose the activities you want…try to do them all…or just tag along and watch your kids have fun!  All proceeds from the Stowe Tour de Snow help to enhance the winter use of the Stowe Rec Path and to benefit S.K.I.S (Skiing Kids in Schools).
