It’s a Snowy Celebration at Stowe Winter Carnival

Celebrate all things winter when you head to the Stowe Winter Carnival. This annual festival is chock-full of fun events, winter sports, performances, competitions, and food.

Attend Vermont Winter Festivals

The carnival is held from January 13 to 27, 2018 at various locations around Stowe. Mark your calendar for some winter wonder!

Snowgolf and Snowvolleyball Tournaments

These wacky sports events are a blast for everyone involved. For Snowgolf, teams dress up in costume for a round of 11 holes at Stowe Country Club – in the snow. It’s happening January 14.

Meanwhile, the Snowvolleyball Tournament is like sand volleyball’s crazy cousin. Each team will compete in the snow at The Alchemist Brewery on January 27.

Ice Carving

Girl-Bundled-Up-with-Ice-SculptureSee masterpieces carved out of ice at Ice Carving Demo Day, which will be held along Main Street on January 19. You can also enjoy food, drink, and shopping while you check out the “gallery” of ice sculptures at the Ice Carving Stroll on the same day.

Kids’ Carnival

Kids can enjoy games, music, a bouncy house, and more at this kick-off event on January 13.

Moonlight Cabin Snowshoe Tour

Tour the Vermont woods by moonlight on a snowshoe trek. Then, warm up with drinks and hors d’oeuvres afterward. Umiak Outfitters will host this event on January 26.
