The 73rd Stowe Derby Brings Hundreds to Stowe
Since 1945, this derby has brought to Stowe competitors from the Canadian Ski Team to NCAA Champions. This year it's bringing back the Fat Bike Race and features the Derby Short Course, presented by Ben & Jerry’s! You may register to participate by February 9.
Cross-Country Ski Race
This 12.5-mile course features challenging terrain with a vertical drop of nearly 2,800 feet. Participants will ski down this difficult course while spectators watch over 45 minutes of great skiing action. This is one of the oldest and most unique races in the country – you wouldn’t want to miss it.
Fat Bike Race
This race will benefit the Stowe Mountain Bike Club as riders compete on the same course as the skiers, but starting from the bottom. Riders may participate in the Fat Derby or the Fat Derby Meister, which combines the Fat Derby and the Freestyle Race.
