If you love beer, music, and running in Stowe, add the Craft Brew Race on Saturday, May 19th to your race calendar!


This craft beer festival in Vermont kicks off with a 5k. After the Craft Brew Race, you can sample beers, taste delicious snacks, and enjoy some live music. Last year, the festival featured over 40 vendors from local breweries.


When it comes to running events in Stowe, this race offers some of the best scenery you can find throughout the Vermont countryside.

If you register for both the festival and 5k, you'll receive a commemorative pint glass and full access to the festival grounds which includes beer sampling. Designated drivers and non-drinkers can still enjoy snacks, music, and non-alcoholic beverages with their festival ticket.

On-site registration and bib pick-up begins at 10AM and the 5k starts at noon. The beer festival opens at 12:30 PM with last call at 3:50 PM.

Since its inception in 2001, the Stowe Weekend of Hope (SWOH) has been offering a peaceful retreat for cancer survivors and their families in a beautiful, restorative setting. From expert seminars to inspiration and care, check out some of the highlights of this special healing retreat.

Highlights of the Retreat

EDUCATION: Guests can explore presentations on the most current medical research on cancer prevention and treatment from highly respected physicians and practitioners from around New England and local area hospitals including the University of Vermont Cancer Center, The University of Vermont Health Network, Central Vermont Medical Center, Copley Hospital, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and the Rutland Regional Medical Center.

HEALING: Participate in hands-on workshops, support group gatherings, spiritual services, yoga, meditation, recreational opportunities and time for relaxation.

INSPIRATION: Enjoy live music, ecumenical services and motivational talks are held throughout the restorative environment of Stowe.

SWOH takes place the weekend of May 4th through May 6th, 2018 and is sponsored by the Stowe Area Association, Vermont Cancer Network, Fletcher Allen Health Care Center, and Copley Health Systems and is supported by Vermont Living Magazine.
