The finest chowder in Vermont to taste, plus an incredible array of art to view and purchase – is there a better way to spend Memorial Day weekend?
We think not. Attend Chowderpalooza in Stowe and get the full, tasty experience of a fun, community tradition.
The Chowder Festival in Stowe is Your Ticket to a Delicious Weekend
This year’s Chowderpalooza will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2017, on Park Street, which will be closed off for the event.
Chowder Tasting and Judging
A $5 bracelet gets you access to hearty chowder samples from all the participants. After tasting the offerings from various categories (including white, red, veggie, and open, where the sky’s the limit), you’ll get to join in the judging and vote for your favorites. The top entry will take home the famous Chowder Pot trophy.
Spring Art on Park in Stowe
Your entry bracelet also gets you access to the joint event, Spring Art on Park. This is where you’ll find art vendors, live music, and lots of food.
Local artists will be setting up tents and selling everything from handcrafted paintings, candles, furniture, jewelry, specialty food, and more, plus photography, prints, handbags, and accessories.
The chowder and art festival is a great way to round out your weekend activities. Come for the fun of the Chowder Festival in Stowe, and stay for the weekend. We invite you to book one of our guestrooms at Green Mountain Inn for the total Stowe experience.
