Enjoy Memorial Day Weekend in Stowe and the 23rd Annual Spring Vermont Open Studio Weekend!
Memorial Day Weekend in Stowe and across Vermont, for that matter, will be dotted with yellow signs – for what you ask? Only one of the biggest statewide celebrations of the visual arts and the creative process – the Spring Vermont Open Studio! The public is invited to visit artists and craftspeople in their studios all over Vermont, some of which are only open to the public during this event, and gives everyone the opportunity to see the work of these artisans up close.

Be Adventurous! The yellow wayfinder signs are there to guide you to the out-of-the-way spots where you’ll get to experience the real Vermont - classic New England farmhouses and barns, hidden villages, stonewalls, streams, waterfalls and spectacular gardens.
Speak to the Experts! Every artist will be glad to direct you to the next wonderful place to visit.
Pick up a Vermont Open Studio Guide Map! Visit the Vermont Crafts Council website or at rest stops, tourist information areas and galleries across the state.
Stick to one village! Wherever you’re visiting in the state of Vermont, a village is nearby that is part of the Tour. Take in all there is to see of the Tour and then explore the village itself!
Pick Your Favorite! Choose to only visit certain artists by the media you enjoy most! Woodworking, Pottery, Jewelry – it’s all here.
People who have experienced the Vermont Open Studio tend to return year after year, because each year there is more to discover. Visitors to the Green Mountain Inn can say the same. Make your plans now to visit Vermont and tour our vast assortment of studios and stay in our historic Inn. We hope to welcome you soon!
