Now in its 33rd year, the Stowe 8 Miler Run & Two-Person Relay, presented by Onion River Sports, welcomes runners from all over New England and Canada to enjoy the beautiful eight mile single-loop course which will provide them with a stunning view of the Vermont countryside and then straight through the heart of downtown Stowe. The two-person relay (comprised of a three and five mile leg) was added in 2012 and has proven to be a popular addition. All participants of both the race and relay will be treated to a post-race celebration on the grounds of Ye Olde England Inne, with Smuttynose Beer, homemade Island ice cream and much, much more!

The Stowe 8 Miler course is a rolling course with flat sections, with an amazing backdrop of Mount Mansfield and the Stowe countryside. Starting out on a relatively flat section of Stowe, the race will eventually challenge its runners with elevation gains and challenging hills. The Stowe 8 Miler race works closely with Stowe Parks & Recreation and also supports the Stowe Recreation Scholarship Program, allowing residents of Stowe to participate in Rec programs no matter their economic status.
All of us here at the Green Mountain Inn will be cheering for the runners and extend our best wishes for an outstanding race for each and every participant.
