Quarry Tour

Rock of Ages is so amazing that it was actually featured in the famous car chase in the 2009 Star Trek® movie, and the Vermont Quarry Tour gives you the opportunity to see it first-hand.  View artisans cutting, polishing and carving stone using techniques virtually unchanged since the days of Michelangelo, but working right alongside modern day, computer-aided equipment.

If you’re looking for a place to stay while exploring the Stowe area, the Green Mountain Inn is the perfect place to add to your true Vermont experience.  With handmade quilts adorning Vermont-made furniture, local historic photographs and paintings hanging throughout our halls, and friendly, down-to-earth staff that make you feel right at home, our Inn will add that finishing touch to your Vermont getaway.  We hope to see you soon!
