Residents, tourists and vacationers alike will join in this end of summer "ritual" in New England to be held on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The Darn Tough Ride, scheduled over Labor Day weekend promise to be some of the best yet. Except for the family ride, prior routes used have been re-routed for this year's event. The route change for the event will still be a beautiful vista that makes a refreshing exertion for bikers. Compete in the King and Queen of the Mountain Challenge for a chance to win prizes if you're one of the top six fastest cyclists.
After the bike rides have been finished, participants of the Darn Tough Ride are invited to visit the Whip Bar & Grill, located in the Green Mountain Inn, to celebrate the community's success in supporting Stowe Adaptive Sports.
The Whip offers a variety of menus for all race participants, including brunch, lunch, dinner and a children's menu.
