Are you tough enough for a Labor Day bike ride in Stowe?

Join hundreds of people in Stowe as preparations are made to bike across challenging, but fun bike routes in support of Friends of Stowe Adaptive Sports. Residents, tourists and vacationers alike will join in this end of summer "ritual" in New England to be held on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. If you're feeling tough enough, take on a 48-mile, 60-mile or 100-mile bike ride through some truly beautiful routes in Vermont.

Darn Tough Ride
The Darn Tough Ride, scheduled over Labor Day weekend promise to be some of the best yet. Except for the family ride, prior routes used have been re-routed for this year's event. The route change for the event will still be a beautiful vista that makes a refreshing exertion for bikers. Compete in the King and Queen of the Mountain Challenge for a chance to win prizes if you're one of the top six fastest cyclists.

After the bike rides have been finished, participants of the Darn Tough Ride are invited to visit the Whip Bar & Grill, located in the Green Mountain Inn, to celebrate the community's success in supporting Stowe Adaptive Sports.

The Whip offers a variety of menus for all race participants, including brunch, lunch, dinner and a children's menu. Enjoy fine dining in a casual atmosphere accompanied by fresh baked breads and delicious desserts, including the regionally famous Sac de Bon Bon. Contact us at 802-253-4400 x615 for reservations.

Come have some food with friends and enjoy the end of summer Darn Tough Ride event over Labor Day weekend!
