Headliners for This Year’s Jazz Festival in Vermont

Jazz FestivalThe exciting jazz festival in Vermont always brings out the big acts and this year is no different. Headliners this year are set to include Charenée Wade, Randy Newman, Marcus Roberts Trio and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.

Randy Newman will be opening the festival on the Flynn Main Stage. Particularly exciting, Bela Fleck and Flecktones will be reuniting for a special summer tour, stopping off at one of the best music festivals in Vermont, on June 9. The multi-Grammy award winning group first formed in 1988 and quickly became one of the unique super groups in the history of music.

Vocalist Charenée Wade will also be making an appearance. She was the 2010 runner up in the Thelonious Monk International Vocal Competition. Marcus Roberts Trio joins the festival, too, as Artist-in-Residence.
