Authentic German food, music, lots of Vermont-crafted brews, and fun – what’s not to love?
Get a taste of Deutschland without ever stepping foot from American soil. Stowe Oktoberfest is a one-of-a-kind destination to get a feel for traditional, old world Germany and its Bavarian culture.
Oktoberfest was originally held in Bavaria, Germany, to celebrate the marriage of King Ludwig I in 1810. Today the tradition has upheld the world over to celebrate German folk culture, dancing, and, of course, beer. The German festival in Stowe is part of this great October tradition and is celebrating its 20th year in action.
