What started out as a community project to save a historic building in the heart of Stowe, Vermont, has turned into an ever-evolving endeavor to enrich the lives of the entire area through the power of the arts. The Helen Day Art Center is now an important and vibrant part of the community and hosts a variety of Stowe events throughout the year. From exhibitions to art classes, it is now recognized as a leader in the art world of Vermont. To keep these programs funded while also leading the way into the future, each year, The Center presents a Vermont Gala to support the creativity and innovation that they bring to Stowe. This year’s Stowe gala takes place on Saturday, April 4 at 5:00 PM at The Lodge at Spruce Peak.

The Gala: Springtime in Paris is the 31st annual benefit for The Helen Day Art Center. The organizers are promising an elegant, exciting evening that continues the Springtime Gala in Stowe traditions of having a variety of auctions to benefit their programs throughout the year. For those that have never attended this Stowe Gala, during the cocktail reception, the Live and Silent Auction offer bidders exclusive items and experiences whilst the Art Auction features works from the renowned artists showcased at the Center. For The Gala, black tie is optional as, after the auctions, a full night of dinner and dancing will commence.

If you plan on visit Stowe in the spring for this event, book a room with us at The Green Mountain Inn. Located in the heart of Downtown and less than 10 miles away from The Lodge at Spruce Peak, our historic hotel offers comfortable accommodations and classic New England charm to get you in the spirit of this elegant gala.
